Do I need a roof rack to use an Oasis Tank? Yes. All Oasis Tank products require a standard roof rack or platform-style roof rack to be installed on your vehicle. The tank mounts directly onto the rack using the included hardware. If you're unsure whether your current rack is compatible, contact us before purchasing — we're happy to help.
Which vehicles are compatible? Oasis Tank products are compatible with any vehicle that has a standard roof rack installed — SUVs, crossovers, trucks, sedans, and more. The mounting hardware included with each tank fits the vast majority of rack styles available in the US market.
Can I drink the water from the tank? No. Oasis Tank products are designed exclusively for external use — rinsing, washing, and cleaning. The tanks are not certified for potable (drinking) water use. Always use a separate water source for drinking.
Can I use liquids other than fresh water in the tank? No. Our tanks are designed for fresh water only. Using any other liquid — including salt water, soap, or chemicals — will damage the pump and internal components and will void your warranty.
How do I install the tank? Each tank comes with a QR code that links directly to our installation guide and user manual. Installation is straightforward and requires no special tools. How does the pump work? The Elite Tank and Oasis Duo include a built-in 12V electric pump that connects to your vehicle's power outlet (cigarette lighter). Simply plug in the cable, turn on the pump, and you have pressurized water at 70 PSI. The OST Tank is gravity-fed and requires no electrical connection.
Will the tank heat up in the sun? Under normal conditions, the water stays close to the temperature it was at when you filled it. If the tank is exposed to direct sunlight for an extended period, the water will warm up.
Where does my order ship from? It depends on the product. The Elite Black Tank ships from our US warehouse and typically arrives within 2–5 business days. All other products — the Elite Gray, Elite Red, OST series, and Oasis Duo — ship directly from our factory in Costa Rica via DHL and arrive within 3–5 business days. Shipping costs for these products are already included in the listed price.
Will I have to pay import fees? For orders shipping from Costa Rica, DHL may collect an import fee upon delivery. Based on our shipping history, approximately 80% of deliveries arrive with no import fees applied. In cases where fees do apply, they are determined by US customs — typically around $50 — and are not controlled by Oasis Tank. We recommend contacting DHL in advance if you'd like an estimate for your specific location.
Are all accessories included with the tank? Yes. Every tank ships complete with all mounting hardware, screws, and the relevant hose and cable for that model. The Oasis Duo and Elite series also include an accessories bag. Nothing extra to buy to get started.
What is your return policy? If your product arrives defective or damaged, contact us within 15 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or full refund. The product must be returned in its original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. For full details, see our Refund Policy page.
Can I cancel my order? Orders can be cancelled before they ship. Reply to your order confirmation email or contact us via email or WhatsApp as soon as possible. If the order has already shipped, please contact us at info@oasistank.com for return instructions.
I entered the wrong shipping address. What do I do? Contact us immediately at info@oasistank.com. We will do our best to correct the address before the order ships. Address corrections cannot be guaranteed after 24 hours of order placement.
Are prices in US dollars? Yes, all prices on oasistank-int.com are listed in USD.
